A Virtual Hosting account with DSI entitles you to 15Mb of
disk space on our server for your website. When the account is established, your web directory and FTP rights will be set up and you will be emailed personalized instructions for uploading your files.
FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is
the process you will use to transfer your HTML files, graphic
files, etc. to our server. There are a number of FTP programs
available on the Web (we recommend WS_FTP).
Using your username and password, FTP your HTML and graphics
files to the web server using an FTP program of your choice
(another popular FTP client is Cute FTP).
The host server name or IP address is:
www.yourdomain.com
The first page that you would like seen when entering your
URL must be named index.html.
